Amazon Prime for nurses and nursing students
Working nurses pay what everyone else pays. Nursing students — at a two-year college or a four-year one, at 19 or at 45 — are exactly who the student route was written for.
The short answer
There is no nurse discount on Prime. Amazon's two discounted memberships are set by age, enrollment and assistance status, not by profession. Nursing students are a different story: anyone enrolled in higher education — an associate program at a two-year college, a BSN, an accelerated second-degree BSN, an RN-to-BSN or a graduate nursing degree — qualifies for Prime for Young Adults at $7.49 a month, at any age. Working nurses aged 22-24 qualify on age alone.
Two searches meet on this page: "Amazon Prime discount for nurses" and "Amazon Prime nursing student discount". They have opposite answers. The first is no, and no amount of searching changes it. The second is yes for a wider group than most nursing students realize, because nursing education is full of people the program's old name — Prime Student — makes feel excluded: older students, part-time students, working RNs finishing a degree.
Higher-education students enrolled in a two- or four-year college can also sign up by sharing their .edu email address.

Which nursing programs fit the student route

That last row is the honest gray area. Amazon's wording is "higher-education students", and it does not publish whether a stand-alone certificate program counts. Many are run through community colleges, in which case you are a student there with the same proof as anyone else; some are run by employers or private training providers, in which case there may be no enrollment document for Amazon to check. Verifying: the proof that works for nursing programs
Amazon accepts any one of three things on the student route: "Complete and submit the sign-up form", "Use your .edu email address", or "Submit proof of enrollment, such as your student ID or an official acceptance letter for the upcoming term". For nursing students that usually means:
- A .edu address if your college issues one — the quickest route, and it does not have to be the email on your Amazon account. The .edu question.
- An acceptance letter if you have been admitted but not started — Amazon names it, so an incoming nursing student can verify before orientation.
- A student ID or enrollment document for programs without a .edu address, including many clinical and hybrid programs. Proof of enrollment.
Working nurses
If you are 22, 23 or 24, the age route needs no enrollment — only government ID — and runs until your 25th birthday. If you are 25 or over and enrolled, the student route still applies; a working RN part-way through a BSN or an MSN is a student in Amazon's terms. If you are 25 or over and not enrolled, the young-adult rate is closed: Prime Access at $6.99 a month is set by assistance programs and income rather than job, and otherwise regular Prime paid annually ($139) is the cheapest line. There is no hospital, health-system or union rate for Prime on Amazon's price list. If your employer offers a perks platform, it may carry retail deals, but a discount on the membership itself is not something Amazon publishes.
The benefits that suit a clinical schedule
Nursing schedules — early clinicals, night shifts, twelve-hour days — change which Prime benefits matter. The ones worth switching on first:

How long it lasts through a long program
The student route ends "after four years, or the end of your studies". Nursing pathways often run longer than four years in total — an associate degree followed by an RN-to-BSN, or a BSN followed by a graduate program. Amazon emails before it converts a membership, and it provides a continuing-student step for people still enrolled. Re-verify before the conversion rather than after.
