Finding your renewal date
One date controls the billing, the eligibility warning and the conversion to full price. Almost nobody knows theirs, which is why the conversion is always a surprise.
The short answer
Your renewal date sits in your Amazon Prime membership settings. It is the date you are billed, and it is the date Amazon works backwards from when it warns you about eligibility — it says it will email "several weeks before your discounted Prime renewal date" if it believes you no longer qualify.

What the date actually controls
- Billing. $7.49 on the monthly plan, $69 on the annual one.
- The eligibility warning. Amazon's notice period is defined relative to this date, not to your graduation or birthday.
- The conversion. When the discount ends, the switch to regular Prime at $14.99 takes effect at a renewal.
- Your cancellation window. Canceling before it stops the next charge; canceling after it does not undo the last one. Refunds.

Where to look
In your Amazon account, under the Prime membership area. The membership settings page shows the plan you are on and when it next renews. The calendar entry that prevents everything
Two entries, actually, and they take a minute between them:

The second one doubles as a cash-back prompt, which matters more than it sounds: the balance expires 180 days after it is earned and needs $5 before any of it is spendable. How that works.

What we cannot tell you
- Exactly how many weeks "several weeks" is. Amazon does not quantify it, so neither do we.
- Whether the warning email always arrives. Amazon commits to sending it; we cannot verify delivery to any individual account.
- What time of day billing occurs. Not published, and not something to plan a cancellation around to the hour.
The practical implication of the second one: do not rely solely on an email you have not seen. The calendar reminder is yours and does not depend on anyone's mail filter. Re-verifying before the conversion.
