Why the code sites say otherwise
Coupon aggregators are paid for traffic and for clicks through to retailers. A page saying "there is no code" earns nothing. A page listing expired codes, sitewide sales and "verified today" badges earns the same as one listing real codes, and is far easier to produce at scale.
